The Chief Executive Officer of the district Panchayat Mr Akhilesh Argal conducted inspection of the Janpad Panchayat Baraseoni and Katangi under Rajiv Gandhi Watershed Mission. The main aim behind this mission is to encourage land conservation. Other objectives include the construction of stop dams and contour tanks so that the rain water is checked from being wasted unduly.
