PHDCCI : The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry has suggested that the northern States adopt a sytem of education, which provides free education till class eight. In a study on 'Reorientation of the education system in North India' the chamber suggested that the State policy should be to subsidise higher education up to 50 per cent and charge the students for the balance.
