The Five-Year Health and Population Sector programme is set to run from 1998 to 2003 in Bangladesh. Designed in the light of the proposed National Health Policy, the Programme Implementation Plan Document says that, due to existing resource constraints, it is not possible to provide all the various services needed by all the different segments of the population, efforts are being made to meet the needs of the most vulnerable.
