A recent study has shown that the drinking water used by the Puneites is quite unsafe. Recently, the Thermax Cullingan Water Technologies had invited Pune's water users to have their water tested at approved laboratories at a highly subsidised rate.More than 175 users responded in December and their water samples were tested for microbe contamination, excess mineral presence and physical characteristics.
