Northwest China's Qinghai Province is vigorously pushing ahead a ten-year afforestation program.The move is to increase forest coverage in Qinghai by four percent, said a local forestry official.Under the program, 23 million mu (1.53 million hectares) of hinterland in the province is expected to be reforested with trees and grass, the official said.
