Quake of mild intensity hits Jaipur

A mild earthquake measuring 3.7 on Richter scale jolted the Rajasthan capital early on Sunday. There were no reports of casualties or damage to property. The tremors at 4.13 am lasted for about 30 seconds and were experienced most intensely in the city's Sanganer and Mansarovar areas. "An earthquake of slight intensity hit Jaipur region and its epicentre was 10 km under the earth,' S.S. Singh, director of India Meteorological Department here, said.
