The National Institute for Resources and Environment in Japan said it has developed a simple analysis technology that can be used to continuously measure for toxic, volatile organic chlorinated compounds such as trichloroethylene. Not only can the system discriminate between compounds, but it can also track chages in the concentration of a given compound over time.
