The Geological Survey of India (GSI) on Monday said the meteorite which was found near Kanvarpura village in Rajasthan's Chattaurgarh district on August 29 is a great asset for the scientific community as it is a rare iron meteorite. Only eight per cent of the meteorites which fall on Earth are iron meteorites and hence have a great research value.
