Rajasthan to spend Rs 1,500 crore on roads

The Rajasthan government is planning to spend over Rs 1,500 crore on the development of roads this year. Claiming that Rajasthan is ahead of other states in the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, public works department minister Harendra Mirdha said under the project, 1,194 villages would be connected by 3,685 km of roads at an estimated cost of Rs 400 crore.
