A huge rally across Tamenglong district of Manipur would be taken out tomorrow to protest against the proposed construction of multi-crore Tipaimukh Dam at the trijunction of Manipur, Mizoram and Assam, Committee Against Tipaimukh Dam (CATD) said today. The CATD said in a statement that rally, public meetings and processions would be organized in the district to protest against the proposed dam for which a memorandum of understanding had been signed by the Manipur Government and North Eastern Electrical Power Corporation recently.
