Rare albino fawn draws hundreds of visitors to Imphal zoological garden

Iboyaima Laithangbam IMPHAL: There is enthusiasm among animal lovers over the birth of an albino fawn at the zoological garden in Imphal on March 23. Though the colour of the fur of the parents is red, the fawn is completely white. Zoo officials and animal lovers said that such albino fawns are rarely reported. It is said that the number of such fawns is less than 40 in zoos throughout the world. Hundreds of onlookers and animal lovers are thronging the zoo to see it.
