A pack of 48 stump-tailed monkeys long thought to be extinct in Malaysia has been spotted near the Malaysian-Thai border recently, a newspaper reported on Satuday. The monkeys were sighted crossing into Malaysia from across the Thaiborder five months ago, the director of wildlife protection and national parks, Zulkifli Arshad, was quoted as saying by the New Straits Times.
