The Ravi,which flows along the Indo-Pak border in Amritsar and Gurdaspur districts, has become a source of misery for many residents of the border belt. It has been posing a constant threat to human life due to its ever-changing course, especially during the rains. The river's changing course, has already eroded thousands of acres of fertile lamd in the past few years.
