Hearing a public interest litigation filed by former mayor Hareshwar Patil, the Bombay High Court directed the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to demolish unauthorised constructions comprising a sports complex and coaching classes on a 4,500 sq m playround at Ramkuwnar Thakur Road in Dahisar (East).
