National Conference (NC) today demanded the re-opening of Ranbir Canal keeping in view the shortage of irrigation water. As per a press release, NC provincial president Ajay Sadhotra during an interaction with the deputation of formers from Block Marh urged state government to open the water in the Ranbir Canal so that the farmers could save their vegetables and wheat crops. He again demanded that the government should order making on spot assessment of the damaged crops occurred due to the closure of canal.
