District forest officials, under the supervision of DFO Venkaiah and Forest Range Officer, Flying Squad, K Rajasekhar, recovered red sanders worth Rs 5 lakh on Sunday at Telladorakona, near Chillalkala Mallki village in the reserve forests of Udayagiri-Veligonda region in Anathasagaram, Andhra Pradesh. He said 240 logs of red sanders weighting 3,600 kg, which were ready for transportation, were found on the hilly terrain.
