Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan has warned the hoarders and black marketers of strict action. He said that if PDS wheat is sold in the black market then strict action would be taken against the sellers. He told in Dhar that any kind of irregularity towards poor would not be tolerated. On the other hand the Chief Minister writing a letter to Prime Minister demanded to sanction 35 kg grains per month to 62 lakh 50 thousand BPL card holders in the state. Chief Minister's concern over the people belong to below poverty line can be understood. Along with this his commitment to provide proper rate to the farmers for their agriculture product, is need of the day but according to information, the problems of BPL card holders is noticeable. According to information there are 35 per cent fake BPL ration cards in the state. In this way 35 per cent share of poor is being distributed to others. Actual BPL people are being deprived. There are so many families who are living below poverty line but they have no cards. Its assessment is necessary and strict action should be taken against the people who are taking ration on the basis of fake cards. Questions have been raised on the distribution system. There is suspicion of fake activities also in it. Strict steps are required against it. In the whole context there is need to strictness in the distribution system then the real beneficiaries would be able to take advantage of PDS. Reform is necessary in such condition. Problems of poor and deprived class people would be solved if work is done whole heartedly. Black marketers should not be spared and action should be taken against them.
