There is bad news for Bhavnagar residents. The coastal town could be situated on a seismologically active fault line extending from Bhavnagar to Kodinar which has been causing numerous tremors over the last month and a half. Scientists of the National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) in Hyderabad, who camped in Bhavnagar in August, said the city has to take some precautions because some areas in the eastern and northern part of the city are particularly vulnerable.
