Reports of damage caused by forest fires fanned by soaring temperatures and strong winds continued to pour in Kathmandu from different parts of the Nepal. The fires spread in the southern forest of Mustang have not yet been taken under control even on the sixth straight day. About 25 to 30 per cent of a dense pine forest located in Makensalleri, Deurali and Marpha VDC has been destroyed.
