The Kamla Nehru Ridge forest plays host to vendors, drunkards, has a free entry for scooters and mobikes and boasts of a wireless station. People take away loads of firewood almost every day. The degeneration of the forest has been raked up in the meetings of the Ridge Management Board (RMB) by the forest department.
