New Delhi, April 22: After fertiliser firms, Reliance Industries have signed agreements to sell natural gas from its prolific eastern offshore KG-D6 fields to at least six power producers in Andhra Pradesh, including GVK Power. RIL is currently producing 13 million cubic metres per day (mmcmd) gas from its Dhirubhai-1 and three fields in the deep sea Krishna Godavari basin block KG-DWN-98/3 or KG-D6. and the output is expected to touch 20 mmcmd by the month end. A power ministry official said RIL had signed Gas Sales and Purchase Agreements (GSPAs) to sell 9.4 mmcmd gas to four independent power producers
