The proposed interlinking of the Ken with the Betwa involving Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh as also the Parbati and the Kalisindh with the Chambal to benefit Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan are a minor portion of the ambitious 'Inter basin water transfer links' mega programme envisaged to usher in a second 'Green revolution', apart from solving the country's problem of droughts and floods once for all.
