The work on interlinking of rivers will start from Madhya Pradesh. According to sources, "the work on two river interlinking projects is to be implemented this year, one will link the Ken and Betwa rivers in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.The second will interlink Parvati, Kalisindh and Chambal rivers in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
