The Chhattisgarh government has decided to conduct roadshows all over the country to register its pres- ence on the national tourist map. During the inauguration of the State Information Centre in Bhopal, Chhattisgarh tourism min ister Brijmohan Agarwal (formerly home minister) said his state's tourist potential still remained largely unexplored. So much so that a lot of people in the country still thought Chhattisgarh was still part of Madhya Pradesh. It had thus become absolutely essential for the five-year old state to establish its own identity. Hence, the road shows.
