Rs 10.21 crore project for water supply in 23 villages

Haryana Government has formulated Rs.10.21crore project for augmenting water supply in 23 villages of Mahendragarh district. Public Health Engineering Minister Randeep Singh Surjewala said that the project was based on ground and canal water and comprised of 15 schemes, namely augmentation Water Supply Scheme, Gudha, Dhadot, Bhojawas, Mandola, Balana, Sohla, Nangal Mala, Chelawas, Gomla, Mazra Khurd, Kotia, Karira, Bhagot Group, Jatwas Group and Kheri Talwana Group. The scheme would be funded by NABARD and completed in a period of three years, said Surjewala adding that the implementation of this project would go a long way in providing drinking water source for 23 villages. A population of about 59,279 would be benefited with safe drinking water which would have a direct effect in improving people
