In order to relieve traffic congestion in the town, the government had prepared a Rs 114-crore scheme for building a network of roads and bridges which would be completed in the next 18 months. This was stated by the Congress MP, Mr Deepender Singh Hooda, in Rohtak, Haryana while talking to mediapersons after laying the foundation stone of a Community Centre at the Mahila Ashram road. He said the work on widening of road from Asthal Bohar to Bohar village was in progress and the road would serve as a bypass for Delhi-bound traffic coming from the Sonepat side.
