By Our Staff Reporter Bhopal, Jan 22: The State Government has made an alllotment of Rs 15.50 lakh for transportation of drinking water in rural areas of Indore, Betul and Hoshangabad districts. The allotment fund would be used for those areas where every source of potable water has dried up. Concerning collectors have been asked to carryout the transportation work through gram Panchayats. Transportation of drinking water through contractors has been banned completely. People's participation would also be sought in this work.
