Measures are being taken by the Ambagamuwa Divisional Secretariat to reconstruct the Galamuduna Deniyahena road in the Ambagamuwa (Ginigathena) DS division in the Nuwara Eliya district. The Government will spend Rs. 30,000 for the construction of the rural road under the Jathika Saviya Gama Neguma programme. The Central Provincial Councillor and the Chief SLFP organiser W.G. Ranasinghe who inaugurated the reconstruction work on the Galamuduna-Deniyahena road recently said that with the reconstruction of the road, residents of the remote villages of Galamuduna, Deniyahena and Koththellena would benefit.
