Shastry V. Mallady MADURAI: The State government has allotted an additional Rs.3.16 crore for exclusively dealing with seasonal diseases in the wake of incessant rains for past few days. The amount is being disbursed to health authorities in districts to step up mosquito control activities. Speaking to The?Hindu here on Sunday, V. K. Subburaj, Health Secretary, said the fund would be utilised for controlling vector-borne diseases.
