Alas! Some respite for parents from scratching their heads, as no more they have to think about the places where they can take their children to play in the city. With a new garden project initiated by Raj Shroff, this park will surely be one of the best hangouts for the kids. Unlike the existing parks, this park has separate sections for kids belonging to different age groups. It includes zone for toddlers, for kids and so on. Also, not forgetting the special ones, this park will also have special games for the handicapped children. An estimate amount of four crores to be spent on this project, the games and equipment to be used in this park are specially made from Denmark. The park will have lots of interactive games, which not only entertain kids but will also educate them. Located behind American Consulate, this park will have various zones that will keep kids busy with interactive activities. An amphitheater is planned wherein the children can listen to music and give their dance performances. Also an outdoor gymnasium is designed that will help kids to try various exercises and will keep kids fit. A special art wall being part of this park, kids can showcase their art and creativity by painting this wall. A sea faced deck, a mermaid to pose for the photographs, different track with variety of surfaces like hard, smooth, slippery, volleyball and basketball courts, illusions created by lenses all these things will surely help children to enjoy their evenings. There won't be any kind of entery fees. Being difficult to maintain such parks, Raj Shroff said, "we would try to concentrate more on maintenance part of this park." "Funds will be raised for this park, as few corporate are eager to help for this park," he further added.
