Minister for Higher Education and Chitradurga district in charge D Manjunath said that Rs 40 lakh was released to meet the drinking water scarcity problem at Ashraya colony, Harischandra Ghatt, DC Colony. Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the power supply to Ashraya colony at his home constituency Hiriyur near Chitradurga district of Karnataka, he said that he has directed the authorities to start a government primary school near Ashraya Colony for convenience of children of the locality.
