Rs 49.5 lakh allocated for potable water transportation

Bhopal, Jan 21: The State Government has accorded sanction of Rs 1.5 crore to solve drinking water problem prevailing in districts of Rajgarh, Shajapur and Khandwa districts. Out of the sanctioned amount, a sum of Rs 49.50 lakh has been released to these three districts as initial instalment.
As per the break up, Rs 24.50 lakh have been allotted to Rajgarh Collector. Of this, an amount of Rs ten lakh would be further allocated to Biora, eight lakh to Khujner and Rs 6.5 lakh to Machalpur. Similarly, out of Rs 19.75 lakh allocated to Shajapur district, Rs 7.5 lakh to civic body of Maxi, Rs 1.25 lakh to Soyatkala, Rs 6 lakh to Badagaon and Rs 5 lakh to civic body of Barod. Moreover, Rs 5.25 lakh have been allotted for civic body Mundi in Khandwa district.
