Rs 504-cr road projects for Himachal, Bengal

The Ministry of Rural Development on Friday cleared projects worth Rs 504.12 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) for the construction of 2,354.22 km of roads in Himachal Pradesh and West Bengal. All these proposals are for new connectivity. In West Bengal, the value of the projects proposed is Rs 325.97 crore with which 159 road works are to be taken up to cover a total length of 1,073.94 km for the benefit of 807 habitations.
