A sum of Rs 60 lakh has been earmarked for wasteland development in Sivaganga district under the National Wasteland Watershed Programme, said Arumainathan, Joint Director of Agriculture. He said that the Nawpra project was being implemented in Sivaganga district with assistance from Union Government for agriculture development in the district of Tamil Nadu.
