Rs 600-croro World Bank fund for development of 10 cities

The State government has designed a RS 600-crore World bank aided project for the provision and development of basic amenities in 10 cities in the State. Speaking at a press conference at Raichur on Sunday, Urban Development Minister M S Patil said that the World Bank has already approved the proposed project and agreed to finance it. The State government would start the work on it immediately after the election process.
