The government launched on wednesday a stem cell hub headed by scientist Hwang Woo-suk to preserve the nation's pioneering role in stem cell technology for treatment of diseases. The World Stem Cell Hub, set up at Seoul National University Hospital, will distribute stem cells to other laboratories across the globe and work with them to fashion tailor-made treatment for individual patients.
