According to the International Labour Organisation(ILO) some 250 million children between five to 14 years in the world are compelled to work for their living. About half of them or 120 million work seven days a week and 70 percent of them work in dangerous conditions. The 11th SAARC summit in Kathmandu is expected to ratify two separate conventions on child trafficking control and for the rights and well-being of children.
