The mega city status sure has lent wings to Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC)'s mega dream s for Ahmedabad city, the loftiest among them being the Sabarmati Riverfront Development Project (SRDP). Already upbeat about Centre's decision to allow 100% FDI in real estate and construction, AMC is now angling for funds under the National Urban Renewal Mission which will enable mega cities and million-plus cities to seek grants for their infrastructure projects.
