If all the diesel run Vikram tempos are removed from the roads and replaced by their alternative - the battery run SAFA tempos - pollution level in the Kathmandu valley will go down by 25 percent, claim experts working with SAFA tempo. There are around 100 SAFA tempos in the valley and 1,200 Vikram tempos belching smoke which the experts claim are adding upto the valley's pollution everyday.
