The Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) has identified 25 projects to upgrade the Inland Water Transport (IWT) sector under the Rs 1-lakh crore Sagar Mala umbrella which seeks to modernise envisaged under Sagar Mala in this sector over the next 8-10 years is over Rs 15,000 crore.
