Sahyog a voluntary organisation is holding a consultation on the conservation of Bhopal lakes, with special emphasis on the immersion of idols and tazias in the Upper Lake. Representatives of voluntary organisations engaged in environmental activities, particularly conservation of lakes, festival committees, municipal corporation and Bhoj Wetland Project have been invited to give their suggestions for averting the immersion of idols at 'Shitaldas ki Bagia and Karbala', which has been the main site for learning operations this year.
