protestors adopt 'wait & watch' policy: Even though the Government has announced that it would carry out a re-survey of the region ear-marked for the dam across the Nethravathi river and for the hydel power project at Sarapadi in Dakshina Kannada, anti-dam protestors have now adopted a 'wait and watch' policy.During their recent visit to the project-affected area, district-in-charge minister B A Mohideen and Karnataka Power Corporation Managing Director K Jayaraj conceded the demand of the agitators to scrap the old survey and agreed to conduct another survey before October 30.
