Grit, determination and initiative was common to the 700-odd children gathered for an awareness campaign on air pollution reduction at the Bharat Scouts and Guides headquarters in Bangalore. They were out to make a difference however small. The campaign, was organised as part of the courtesy month by Eco-Watch and the Transport Department, to fight air pollution, environmental degradation, human and vehicular pollution. Children indulged in poster making, campaign drives and in air quality monitoring exercises. The one-day campaign was marked by skits, plays and short films on the environment by student groups and environmental activists.
