Environmentalists in Delhi have an issue at hand. While the capital's forest cover is just around a minuscule six per cent, as against the 33 per cent stipulated in the National Forest Policy, the state environment department has been consistently reporting savings of around 15 to 20 per cent of its budgetary support for the past few years on account of non-implementation of schemes.
