In what is the first overruling in the Ridge Reserve forest case, the Supreme Court has allowed two petrol pumps to stay. The reason, according to Chief Justice M M Punchchi and Justices Saghir Ahmed and S C Agarwal, is that Bagga Link Road filling station and the Pusa Road service station are adjacent the Ridge and not inside it.
