Uncertainty may continue to haunt BSP chief Mayawati, who was named as an accused in Rs 175-crore Taj Heritage corridor scam case but had got a reprieve when the CBI decided to drop the charges, as opined by attorney-general (AG) Milon Banerjee. The Supreme Court perused the AG's opinion and referred the matter, whether Mayawati should be absolved of the charges or not, to the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) for its advice.
