An Empowered Committee constituted by the Supreme Court has pulled up the Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh governments and the CBI for not taking any action against two dozen accused in the land and forest scam of the Bastar region in Chhattisgarh. The scam has affected scores of poor tribals living in villages across the Bastar region.
