Academicians, educationists and administrators Sunday strove to evolve a solution to the alarming situation of 55 per cent school dropouts in Meghalaya.They were participating in a three-day national-level workshop on "Quality Issues in Elementary Education," organised by the Meghalaya Education Department in association with the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussorie, at the Secretariat Conference Hall in Shillong which began Sunday.
