Various schools and colleges in the Amritsar district have pasted notices in their respective canteens to spread awareness among students about the harm of consuming soft drinks after the startling revelations made by the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE). The CSE, in its report published in various newspapers, had revealed the presence of pesticides and insecticides in Coca Cola, Pepsi and other popular brands of aerated drinks.
