Scotland asked to air views over forest plans

  • 04/12/2003

The Scottish public are this week being asked for their opinion on trees. In particular the Scottish Executive and the Forestry Commission Scotland are asking the people they serve for their thoughts on how best they can utilise the country's forests and forest potential. Two issues the organisations are looking to hear thoughts from the public on, are the desirability of providing more woods and forests near to urban areas and the role of forests in the Executive's wider priorities such as renewable energy.
